What is in the bottle now?
2013 SAUVIGNON BLANC, ADMIRAL’S VINEYARD, NAPA VALLEY. We just love our ORGANICALLY FARMED one acre vineyard, planted in front of a friend’s house in ’02. This is the eighth vintage we have bottled from the Admiral’s Vineyard. We picked a little bit riper in 2013, pressed whole cluster and fermented cold in stainless steel. The 2013 vintage is softer than prior vintages, while maintaining abundant pink grapefruit flavors and aromas and a fabulous minerality. This wine may be a little bit too easy to drink! Only 557 Cases Produced. $20/bottle.
2012 ZINFANDEL, DRY CREEK VALLEY. This is our first vintage highlighting fruit from the Christie Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley, just minutes outside of Healdsburg. This Zinfandel is loaded with flavors and aromas of ripe cherry, black pepper and chocolate. With just a hint of vanilla and toasty oak in the nose, this wine is a great just to sip or to serve with your favorite pasta dishes or braised meats like Coq au Vin. Only 972 Cases Produced. $25/bottle.
2010 CABERNET SAUVIGNON, NAPA VALLEY. The aromas just explode out of the glass with our 2010 vintage, showcasing an amazing range of aromas from mocha and cassis to juicy strawberry. A lively and rich mid-palate and lingering finish really deliver what you smell in the glass. This wine is eminently drinkable now, but will certainly age nicely for years to come! Only 738 Cases Produced. $40/bottle.
